Zailitz,
Please don't feel like a "monster". Everyone goes through hard times throughout their lives. You are a wonderful person, and although you have had a rough adolescents, the best parts of your life are still to come. Please stay strong and continue to seek help and support. Let me know how your doctors appointment goes...
Hugs,

Thats a typical depression response. We feel unworthy and thus guilty for being happy. I do that sometimes due to anxiety. I really don't get depressed much anymore. Just a nervous wreck. Make sure you tell that dr. all you're feeling, and if you're like me and have difficulty expressing yourself once you get into the office, start journaling before you go in. Write it ALL down. Trust me, there is nothing these people haven't heard before. Probably stuff you couldn't even imagine. So don't worry it sounds odd etc. Have a good day Zailitz

We're not just being nice to you hon, we care. That's what this site is here for. Glad you got your puppy. I wouldn't trade my dog for anything. They're alot of work in the beginning, but once you get the housebreaking out of the way, a dog can be a wonderful companion. Just make sure you don't substitute it for people in your life. Trust me, I am the queen of isolation. It's never a good thing to cut yourself off. Did you make it to that appt. yet? Make sure to let us know how it goes.
