Hot weather and season change can really affect bipolar symptoms. That's probably why so many people with mental disorders have been having more flare ups than usual for this time of year. Since the body is made mostly of water and the sun and moon control the tides and it only makes sence that it would affect the body and with the seasons changing so quickly, that's why people act weird during a full moon or season change. IE: Easter (spring) falls on the 3rd Sunday after the first day of spring. At this time of year ppl with bipolar disorder will go "manic" or "rapid cycling" b/c of more sunlight. IE: Thanksgiving (Autumn) the sunlight starts to diminish and ppl with bipolar disorder usually get depressed and/or suicidal. Randy

Group Counselings : Group sessions allow for the providing of feelings and the development of effective interacting techniques. The give-and-take at team sessions can be the very best way to alter the way you think about bpd and improve interacting capabilities as you experience the issues.
