How many Drs did you see before you found sz control ? How many Drs did you see until you found someone who listened and understood?
I never had any trouble with Drs till 92 and than my life changed drastically. I went into absence status and no one was listening, least of all the Dr who put me their. When I asked him why he always made mistakes when he saw me he didn't answer.
From that time I was shopping for Drs in MOntreal and NYC back and forth. I tried more Drs than I care to admit . It was so sad , like one Dr told me, the epleptoligists were a country club. And I found out he was right. In retrospect he was the least worst out them all. One day I hope to write him a letter and tell him my experience with homepathy

Danny saw 9 doctors total and none of them knew what was going on.

I didn't see very many actually. I saw my Fam Doc when I was a kid and nothing was ever diagnosed. Two years ago I saw a Neuro after a hard grand mal seizure with injuries. I was actually the one to notice the only thing in common with all my episodes was my monthly period. From there I saw my Gyno where it was concluded I have CE.

Mandi does your gyn. treat you ? Or do you see a epleptoligist who specializes in hormonal problems and szs?

Riva - Gyno does. I've never been to an Epl.

Mandi have you had eeg's? BLood tests? Mri? For someone who uses homeopathy med for her epilepsy I was still under epleptoligists for the majority of my life and I guess I think its important to start with them at least. Riva

Riva - I've had all the necessary tests and we know exactly what we are dealing with. If I get to a point where my seizures increase and I'm not controlled, I will probably seek out an Eple at that point. For right now my Neuro and Gyno work closely together to treat my case.
