Hello from Ontario.
I just wanted to add my piece.
It is against the law in Canada for an employer not to hire a potential applicant because of a known seizure condition. This law is the same in the states. It is a form of disrimination and violates the "Human Rights Act" and the federal costitution.
By law the employer must provide adequate working conditions or supply special needs as/if required to effectively do the job, even if that means restructuring the work area.
However, if a case like that ever went to court, it would be awfully hard for anybody to prove that they were denied a job for THAT reason, therefore cases like that usually go unreported.
I learned this the hard way, through personal experience and 30 yrs. working for the Canadian Federal Government.

This is why I never bring up the subject until after I was hired. Stating your an Epi during the interview process isn't necessary in my opinion. The only reason I tell my employer about the EP afterwards is due to my own personal safety. I want to make sure I'm taken care of if a seizure should take place.

When I worked in Canada I worked for myself, when I worked in the states I worked in sales and for the goverment. I did tell everyone,espically the goverment , I had blood and urine tests I had no choice. I wouldn't have lied anyway. I am not a good liar.
